Doctor Who Wednesdays #30

“We all change. When you think about it, we are all different people, all through our lives. And that’s okay, that’s good, you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day… I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me.”

— Eleventh Doctor, The Time of The Doctor

And now we have reached the end of the Eleventh Doctor. And I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the Twelfth Doctor, but Eleven… I wasn’t ready for him to go.

That being said, he had a great final scene. And I liked how they aligned the Doctor’s regenerations, and the fact that he really does become different people, with everyday life and the way that people change throughout their lives. Everyone stays the same, while becoming different, all through their lives.

Keep Smiling!

  1. River Song: Well, I was on my way to this gay Gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled when I suddenly thought “Gosh, the Third Reich’s a bit rubbish. I think I’ll kill the Fuehrer.” Who’s with me?

    1. I don’t think I’ve included any River Song quotes so far… hmmm, I’ve been a bit stuck for September’s theme, maybe she will appear in the upcoming weeks!

      1. Not all of her quotes are awesome… most of the great ones happened in “Let’s Kill Hitler”… then again, “Hello Sweetie” is just a classic 🙂
