Introducing: ProjectTwentyNine

**I know this is a bit of a long post. I really hope you’ll read it. But if you’re just here to find the link to the main ProjectTwentyNine list page you can find that right here: ProjectTwentyNine. You can also get there by clicking the link on the side menu.**

Hello Lovely Readers!

After much planning and preparation over these last couple months, the day has finally arrived! Today I turned 29 years old! What?! Okay, Okay, so I didn’t actually have to plan and prepare to turn 29, the planning and preparation into the challenge that I am officially announcing the start of in this post! But let me get to that in a minute.

“Megra12” <I hear you asking> “how does it feel to be 29? You are officially in the last year of your 20’s after all.” <To which I respond> It feels… uh… it feels… Okay, so I don’t actually know how I’m feeling now that I’m officially 29. “What?” <You ask, incredulous> “How can you not know how you feel?” Well… <I begin> I suppose I can tell you: This is actually Megra12 from the past speaking to you write now! Yes, that is correct, this post is not, in fact, being written by 29 year old me. This post is being written by “the final days of 28” me.

The truth of the matter is that this post is part of the planning and preparation previously mentioned. This post is so important that I couldn’t risk not having time to write it closer to the actual date. Also, newly 29 me is in Cardiff today, so… there is that. Anyways… enough rambling, and on to the good stuff!

As I mentioned earlier, today is the beginning of the (potentially crazy) challenge I have set for myself to help me make the most of the 366 days that I get to spend at, what I have decided is, will be an awesome age! (Yes, 366 days, 2016 is a leap year. Meaning February has 29 days. Coincidence? I think not.) What is the challenge, you ask?

I have challenged myself to complete 29 lists of 29 things/items while at the age of 29. Hence the name of the project: ProjectTwentyNine. I have tried to set myself a wide variety of lists that encompass my interests and that will allow me to stretch myself and challenge myself to accomplish some of the things I’ve always wanted to do or try. And some of the lists are basically more of the things that I already love to do.

I am going to do my best to keep you all updated on my progress, with weekly update posts, as well as other posts that might relate to the lists. One side goal for this project is to continue to become a better, and more consistent, blogger. Some of my lists and challenges may directly involve posting on various topics, so stay tuned for those!

I have gathered all the links to the individual list pages onto one page, which you can find under the “ProjectTwentyNine” link in the side menu. You can also get there by clicking Here. I will be updating all of these pages frequently throughout the year, and my weekly updates will let you know which pages saw progress that week. On each individual challenge page, you will find a bit of a description unique to that list (ie/ some lists have a set of stipulations/restrictions that accompany them). You’ll also find that some lists have preset entries (some flexible, some set in stone) for me to accomplish and some are blank, to be revealed or decided as the year progresses.

As you will also notice, there are a few spots on my main list that are still blank, or that are still “To be Confirmed.” I have a few ideas for these lists, but since I need to have 29 lists to complete the challenge, I would love to hear your list suggestions, and any items you would put on those new lists, or that you would add to the lists I already have.

As I’m sure you’ll quickly notice, 29 lists is… well… a lot. But I’m ready. Wish me luck!

Keep Smiling!

Megra12

P.S. As a side part of ProjectTwentyNine, I am also attempting a 366 Day photo challenge. You can find more information about that 366 Days.
